I misunderstood your question: When the theater industry releases for DVD, they get them right away but in limited supply, also they work demographics, some movies will do better in certain areas so they concentrate inventory there..

depends where your distribution center is located. I am about 15 miles from the main distribution in Cupertino CA.. I put it in the mail today, they have it tomorrow, they put replacement in tomorrow i have it the next day.

I used to get 3 per, i am now at only one DVD, I watch mostly streaming netflicks. When they raised the fees, I dropped my count.. I am seriously thinking of dropping the whole thing as streaming is old movies and they don't stream blueray..
