      Maybe, if the 18 inch bar fits on the machine. However, the horsepower probably won't be enough to drive the saw efficiently

        As long as sprocket and bar are designed for the same size chain it can be done. If its with the intent of cutting wider wood then with more teeth in contact with the wood at one time the motor may struggle for power.
