if your Puppy was ill then this was the kindest thing to do as you dont want any animal / human to suffer if they put it down because it kept bitting people then the law would have put it down eventurley and I am so sorry for your loss, it is heart breaking when a animal is put to sleep and it didnt feel a thing it would not have sufferd it is now at peace, you must ask your Parents why they did this in the first place I am sure they will give you the reason for this. there are ways to get the truth from your parents speak to there friends and thier children and keep asking them ask them in way that a grown up would ask and keep calm just say I need to know then I can put this subject to bed I have just read your other comments and you say she was suffering you must feel better that she is not suffering and read that you saved this puppy from death, I have been in the same situation with a kitten so I know you would have had a bond striaght away and this does make you alot closer to your animal but I do think you must look forward. perhaps try and help other anilmals work as helper in shelters for animals you will feel alot better in helping other animals and this will help you get over you loss Melanie
Because they cannot get well and they will likely be in pain.

Feel for you Shattuck! Not easy to lose such a good friend as your pet was to you! At least you can keep your special memories of her with you!

Aw...maybe you will find another puppy! I know it won't replace the one you lost, but maybe you could love it too?! Wow, you were a hero to revive the little puppy! That must have felt so good!! No wonder you were so close!

yeah i was really close to her
I just put my german shepard down he was very ILL.(2 month's ago} you will find as time goes on it will get better.
Sometimes the lost of a pet helps you understand that life is a special thing and to short sometimes. This can prepare you for other losses that will happen in your life time.
