Patek Philippe has continually produced perpetual calendar and perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatches since 1941. No link other brand would produce a serially produced perpetual calendar wristwatch until 1955, when Audemars Piguet introduced the groundbreaking ref. 5516 (the first perpetual calendar wristwatch to indicate the leap year), link and it wouldn't be until 1985 link when another brand would produce a perpetual calendar chronograph in series – IWC with the Da Vinci Chronograph.

Seeing as this is a color update on an existing model the link movement inside remains the caliber 5134 with its 40 hours of power reserve. You can see through the caseback which is where you'll also see the only link portion of the watch link save for the clasp that is not made from blue ceramic. Consider it like taking a break from all the blue and instead gazing at 374 components of quantum perpetual.
