If you do they won't be your best friend any longer, I'm assuming you will become intimate. You will have lost a friend, and gained nothing.

As soon as you have SEX with your "best friend" the RULES WILL CHANGE. Suddenly all the things you LOVED about your "FRIEND" will become ANNOYING and REPETITIVE when your LOVERS.

I'm not even going to mention meeting the PARENTS.

If your life partner is NOT your best friend too, it won't last a lifetime.

If you mean you are not quite that serious yet, think hard about what it might mean to lose a friend if friendship is all he or she wants.

No one ask how old you are, you sound real young and if you are don't be in a hurry to date. It's hard to break up when you find someone else you like and someone may have an eye on you and they will not ask if your dating.

I think the best relationships are the ones that started out with being and becoming best friends and even dating and if eventually marrying still being each other's best friend.

Did that once years ago....kind of ruined a good friendship when we realized we were not meant to be a couple...guess you just have to go with your instincts on this one..and of course it depends upon how your best friend feels about dating you!
