    what is the purpose of fan shroud in engines radiator

    And it's a great safety device too. Keeps dummies who shouldn't even look at a running engine from getting their hand cut off, lol

    But geezer is right, it's more meant for air flow.
    the centrifugal force of the fan would push the air laterally out side the fan, but the shroud redirects the air into the radiator where it can do the good work of cooling the coolant and that cools the engine
    to direct the air flow for proper cooling of the engine!
