    Why doesn't my new Windows 7 computer save my changed settings when I reboot? It always defaults to the original settings.

    This happens when I save my wallpaper to stretch, then it goes back to center every time I reboot

      when you change anything,there is a box to check "save changes", make sure you click on that option last and it should save them.good luck.

        I did that, but it won't save beyond the next boot. That's the problem.
