Far to much paid to all top grade "sports" people. This has changed it from a sport to a business making big money= corruption and cheating to get more big money. You try to "SELL" one of your workers to another company and see what Law Court you end up in. Slavery was abolished yonks ago everywhere but sport.

Good luck on the asignment and top marks for researching the "common folk". I also commend you and your parents for having the good manners to acknowledge the replies to your question. I say your parents as they are the ones that have helped you to be appreciative. The world needs more of you and that is high praise from a old Aussie.
They get paid a lot less than footballers and rugby union players... probably still too much.

Why? Greed, and a death wish I should think. The lot of them play to half-empty stadia.

Entrance prices are making impossible for families to attend regularly and the children are their future fans... or not.
