Labs didn't use to be hyper. I think now they are, b/c of all the interbreeding, and misbreeding. It's takes a good , experienced breeder to produce a good acceptable, easily trained Lab. There are all these back yard breeders,who don't know what they're doing--- who lie about their dog's breed, too.
