What happened to the two little cardinal's eggs that the female cardinal had been sitting on dilligently for two weeks? The nest was tilted and the eggs were gone one morning when I looked out my window to check on them.
I was very sad. I witnessed the female cardinal's horror when she came back to her nest after her morning feeding. She and the male were very distraught.
