Yeah, the cost of housing is great, if you don't like the weather just give it an hour and it will change. They sure do have a lot of TX pride sayings on the radio though.

I haven't lived in any other state that is always saying how proud you should be for living there. I would guess it's because of how pissed the rest of the nation was when Kennedy was shot there? Not really sure about that though...do you notice that too?

There are a lot of nice people there, I wouldn't mind living there again, but the air quality reeked havoc on my asthma and I could live without the chiggers.

Chiggers- what a nightmare! I sat down one afternoon for about half an hour to pull weeds from my property and I got so many chigger bites that my back side looked like a big, red, bumpy strawberry. Talk about scratching my ass off! You're right, we have some pretty proud folks around here. Guess there's nothing wrong with being proud of your own state as long as you don't act like a prick about it. Oh, by the way, I'm one of the nice guys or girl!
