Personally I agree with you, I like moving around the country and sampling the different states, seeing which one I like the best. One of my brothers said that it could be related to a psychological condition, even though I laughed it off with him, there is a real condition related to moving frequently. I highly doubt you have this problem, but thought I would give you a few sites to read up on, lol.

    leeroy: are you a psychologist?
You mean renting or buying every two or three year?
it shows that you're looking for happiness, that and you're not finding it in any of the places you've moved to
Regardless of where you move, you still take yourself with you. Your husband must be a saint, no way in hell I'd move just for the sake of moving. Is your picture hanging in the post office? It does seem that your running from something. But than again I'm no shrink, what do I know.
    itsmee

my picture is NOT hanging in the post office. you saw it in the library for overdue books, ed.

I'm sure. If it were, it would no doubt be the prettyist one on the wall.
i do have an anxiety disorder.(for that i take xanax) i've never thought of this as being a disorder. it might be. i've tried writing about it and the book just falls into chapters. fun. i would talk to my psychiatrist but we don't speak the same language. he's from india and i can't understand him ... nor him me. i'll have to depend on you all. : )
    leeroy

No not a psychologist, but I have studied the subject in school, I may go for a degree in psychology soon for something to fall back on. I have done some counseling, mostly through church. Being a artist means that you usually need a second income.

i tried both art and writing. i tell ya, "it's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n roll." I found it difficult to exist on $14.00 a week. <wink> and you? what do you do with your art. there's no place to ask but here ... we should have a place.

Cool, I think the two usually go hand and hand, being creative is a good thing usually. I have had people offer to put some of my pieces in their galleries, but they are like children to me. I'm just not ready to part with any of them yet.

I really started painting for myself, I had a dream and had to paint it back in 92, and I usually only paint one or two paintings a year. I do display them at a Christian halfway house one of my friends owns from time to time. He's always bothering me to leave them at some of the properties he owns.

I think I always want to improve them, so they to me are unfinished somehow. Not all of them but many. People want to take them before I feel I'm done with them, if you know what I mean?
I was thinking about leaving the same advice about getting an R.V., good answer t.u.
i moved every 2 years my whole childhood... I need change! My hubby and I built our home 15 years ago. And stay here to give our children a stable enviroment and support system.. But I feel trapped.. Then again I have nightmares about not being able to get here... or sellnig my home... I AM A HEAD CASE... LOL
THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT THIS IS NOT OUR HOME WE ARE STRANGERS IN A STRANGE LAND. FOR THAT REASON I DO NOT FIND IT ODD.
    itsmee

i do feel like i'm a stranger in a strange world. i'm not a bible reader but i'm all for reading what helps you the most.

You could have a compulsive anxiety disorder. Some people need to wash their hands over and over, some people need to keep moving. You could meet with a local psychologist who can give you better treatment than on this site.
    JOY comes from personal satisfaction.
Happiness is the act, of doing some thing with love in your heart.

you can not be happy when" we move, have a new kitchen etc.
Each, day is a series of seconds. The hardest thing we have to
do is to be "in the here AND now. Most of your issue, are from
    living in yesterday{imaginary+++past memory+++not real.
Also from living in the day after today or next month or next
Christmas when the family is together.
