      Naproxen is the same thing as Aleve (that is sold over the counter)...it's mostly an anti-inflammatory or what is called an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug)

        I was on naproxen 500mg 4 years for knee pain, until it put a hole in my stomach.
