Google has a great new service called Google Docs (https://docs.google.com) where you can share documents with other Google subscribers, including editing, adding, deleting and all changes right on the site. This means you want have to download and upload the file with each change and even if someone doesn't have Word the would be able to view and edit the file like everyone else on the Google Docs site. All you need is to have a Google account.
