what is spondylitic disease?
My Dad had a renal CT scan last week. He's very old school and won't discuss it. I took his ct report to try and figure it out. I am a medical dummy and way out of my league!! There is significant spondylitic disease of the lower spine. Possible early Nephropathy?! Diverticular disease of the the colon without diverticulitis?!!!(WTF!!) Please help us!!! Joan

I'm no doctor but I have elderly parents and the thing with medical diagnosis is you have to break it down into separate parts to see the whole.
Take the following words Spondylitis, Nephropathy, Diverticular and
diverticulitis.
GO here http://www.umm.edu/ency/index.htm put them in one at a time print out what you need and study it.
Go with him to the doctor have some questions ready based on your research
