        well u need the electronic eye ...it makes sure that nothings in the path of the door when its coming down...but i guess uyou could try unplugging both sensors

          It is not legal in most areas to defeat the electric eye. However the thingy on one end is just a mirror. If U put a mirro about one inch in front of the sensor instead of clear across the door area the sensor will think that all is O.K.
