    Drywalling with inside and outside metal edges

    Is it needed to use inside and outside metal edges when applying cement for dry walling.

    I've only seen it used on the outside edges before, it's called corner bead. Just my opinion, hope it helps, I suppose it depends on the building codes, but I haven't heard of it being required on the inside corner.
    The purpose of the corner bead is to give a nice straight corner, and also to protect the corner from bumps, etc.
    No need to use it on an inside corner, but I suppose if you felt it made it easier, it wouldn't hurt. I would think it might be hard to keep the edges straight though.
