    my favorites bar is missing, how do I find it and add to mytoolbar?

    I turned on my computer clicked on Internet Explorer 8 and it was gone.

      Go to the top of the screen on the right side.
      there are 3 icons.

      House = home
      Star= Favoriots
      Cog wheel (?) = tools

      Hope this works for you as well as it did for me.
