While in the U.S.Navy, in 1953 purchased an Omega for $80.00. Automatic wind, two faces, one was the second hand, gold plated. Still running excellent. The retail price then was $135.00.It is an antigue now and worth much,much more. Don't know what a 1974 Omega would cost today but probably much more than what I paid for in '53.
