You will need to buy a device called a 'Static Inverter'. They come in various sizes for different 'DC Input Voltages (commonly either 12 or 24 volts for Solar Panels)' and for different power ratings, i.e. the power that will be consumed by the plugged in (240v) device. Dick Smith, Tandy etc or try the web.
