    why is it important for every citizen to vote in political elections

    EVERY citizen? Desirable but not critical. Vote abstention is as much a right as vote participation whether it's done in protest or apathy.
    If you do not vote don`t complain about who gets elected.
    So you can get the liars out and put in more liars. I always vote, though not always for the same liar.

    i try to teach a friend of that everytime we talk i prefer repudlican crooks over dems he cant see hes voting for a diff group of crooks but crooks just the same
