      A heart murmur is a noise that the blood makes as it flows through the heart. It's like the noise water makes when it flows through a hose. Heart murmurs are common in children and are usually harmless.

        My dad was a doctor and my mom a nurse, I had a similar misdiagnosis when I was a kid and found out in my thirties that it was asthma, make sure you get a second or third opinion. In my case it took at least three.

          I had a Heart murmur when I was young, don't have it anymore. The doc told mom I probably would out grow it. I'm 47 now
