      what kind of signal. if you mean internet it depends what your internet is. dial up, DSL, comcast??????

        Contact your DSL provider. Mine screwed up the connections at the big neighborhood box. Everything else worked fine after they fixed it. Tech came to house and checked all the lines, etc. and determined something wrong in the connection box. Went there and fixed it. Good luck.
