    Well, these are two different chemical substances. Aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid. It is an analgesic (painkiller), antipyretic (fever reducing) and anti-inflammatory drug. It also thins the blood, thus being used in the treatment of heart diseases and to prevent blood clots. It may damage your stomach if you use it too often.

    Acetaminophen is an analgesic and also reduces fever. It can have secondary effects on the liver. It is widely known as paracetamol.

    Both are available without medical recipe.
