It's a raised skin area kinda like in a circle, but it is not a worm. the medical term for it is Tinea. It is related to the fungus you get on your feet called  '' athletes's foot " It doesn't always have to have a round shape. I've had tinea on my hand and on my foot. It can be a flat red rash that itches. Use the cream they put out  for athelete's foot. I contains the same anti -fungal agent that the Dr. would give you a prescription for.
