History books will tell you that the Crusades were to safely see the pilgrims to the holy land and back .The Crusades were actually devised, to steal money and land, and to enrich the Church. Funny how they broke alot of commandments whilst doing so. Always remember, that history is written by the winners, so the truth becomes a bit distorted - to say the least!
