@ mom, In order to be President of the United States of America, the person MUST be a natural born citizen of the US. So yes, it does matter. Obama has been unable to produce a birth certificate (not the same as a certificate of live birth) showing clearly that he was born on US soil. That's what the big fuss is about.

Being I am not American...I'm not really sure what the deal is there. I see Trump on television trying to convince the world Obama was not born in the US.Does it really matter where he was born or that he is trying to do what he is capable of doing after the mess that Bush left behind? Not meaning to insult anyone but whats up with all that?

Bush had very little to do with the mess. Congress is the guilty party, (sorry for the pun) which is why a lot of them were voted out of office. It is important to know where Obama was born, because you can't be President unless you were born a U.S. citizen.

I would like to know where he was born, just to clear it up. If he was born on American soil and is honestly an American citizen I don't see what the big deal is about him showing his birth. I'd think he would want to clear it up if he didn't have anything to hide, on the other hand...

ARE YOU SAYING BECAUSE HE WENT TO SCHOOL IN INDONESIA AND PRAYED TO A KORAN THAT HE CANT BE AMERICAN? WHO ARE YOU TO SAY THAT? THERE ARE ALOT OF PEOPLE IN THE US THAT WENT TO SCHOOL SOMEHERE ELSE BESIDES THE US BUT THEY ARE LEGAL TO BE HERE AND SO IS THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT.
