    can you download a program to a flash drive or external hard drive

    I have a new laptop and I would like to transfer "Microsoft Streets & Trips" from my old laptop to the new one.

      Yes. Just copy it over as you would to another directory on the same drive

        My guess is no, flash drives are for storing documents from one computer and taken to another computer easily. I don't think they have enough memory for a program - but hey, give it a try.
