Put bread in water to crisp it verita??? You don't cook, do you?
Set oven temp to 400. Put the bread on a pan and place it in the oven for 10 minutes or so (this depends on the size loaf you have. Lesser time for small loaves or 1/2 loaves). Tap the bread with your finger after 10 minutes to see if it's crisp enough for you.
