(USA here) They are catering to immigrants who flat out refuse to learn the language of the country they moved to in order to get themselves a better life away from the country who's language they keep just to spite the people who's country they are trying to take over and make like the country they left because it sucked.

I do not believe the bilingual labeling was masterminded to cater to them; I do believe it was masterminded to convince us that it is normal to be bilingual here. Yes, they are catered to, incredibly. Who arranged for manufacturers to cooperate with revision of all their labels, signs and paperwork, how did they convince them, and who gave the order to all major financial and political interests to cater to them?

Which country are you speaking of? If it's Canada, it's because we are a bilingual country...two official languages.

You are honorably biligual due to your partly French ancestry. Please forgive me for not specifying USA. Regarding the USA, we have been a specifically English-speaking country for 200 years. It is not the population that requested the use of Spanish subtitles on every bathroom door. How exactly did it come to pass despite the uproar it has caused among the people?
Interesting! That doesn't make sense then! I get annoyed when Canadians don't accept the french as part of us, but when a language isn't official I don't see why it would be needed on everything! Pretty soon we'll have bathroom doors that are filled with 25 languages!!
