Hey Man!
I have heard that the Egyptians really loved beer. It was practically money in some circles. An earlier people called the "Sumerians" had beer also and some of the first fat people. Once farming started, people could stay stil but some pain-the-butt barbarian wanted to take all the grain and so you had walls and cities and some people could even be chubby. Beer was probably discovered during one of those moments call "leirsure".
Hey! When you hunted and gathered, those animals tended to run away! Chasing kept down weight as well as digging up roots. Farming releived some of effort and maybe then, beer was born.
