    How do I make Firefox accept a website I need?

    Huh? What kind of website are you going to?? i have FF and it has never 'blocked' a site.. In the options/security there's two check boxes,

    block reported attack sites

    Block reported web forgeries

    those are the only two commands that I can see that would block a website - Your firewall may be set to reject but this is not FF..

    OK. How can I check the firewall ? I am trying to access my cities home page to use the newly established "pay on line" ! I can access it from work but not here.

    I don't know your OS but if you are window vista or w7 go to control panel---windows firewall-- restore defaults. If you had changed it in the past maybe this will open it up again. Still not knowing, you may even be using google or other search with filter set too high.. (safe search)
