If you mean '60's music, no I don't think so. I still hear it on the radio. Listen to satellite radio if you can afford it and the radio stations in your area don't play it. If you mean modern music, I don't think that's true either. You just have to look harder to find it because imho most of what is being played on the radio these days is crap.

60's music will never die. Downloads unlimited. Just keep enjoying it . At least you can understand it. Just give time and it will all be back again.
