Hi baby doll: I do not know anyone who has died from PV, but I was just diagnosed with primary PV last August, and I am living well and managing it just fine. PV is a rare, but very treatable form of bone marrow cancer, and usually requires little more than aspirin therapy, phlebotomies, and careful monitoring by a hematologist/oncologist. Hoping that you will research this disease and educate yourself about the ever-increasing knowledge that is being acquired about this myeloproliferative neoplasm. Take good care.
