      Depends on what neighborhood you choose. Jamaica gets a bad wrap for some of the crimes committed there but the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas) had its own crime problems a few years back and those crimes didn't get traction as much as the Jamaican ones did.

      NYC has about 5 murders a day, is it safe? YEAH

        Truth be known, it's never safe to live anywhere, when it's your time your going to meet your maker. Not to be glum, but TSC is correct, I have several Jamaican friends and it really depends on the neighborhood, no matter where your planning to visit or move.

          there is no middle class in jamaica that makes it dangerous we had ablack tour guide who told us he would not last 5 minutes in one area and for us to imagine how long we would last
