    What is the legal or political status of England?

      Eh? I don't quite understand this question. Are you asking for the form of government or so?


      England is a democracy with a parliament and all other institutions you need for this form of government. They also have a constitutional monarchy, which means that the royal house has no executive power, but "only" a representative function.
