As far as I know the only damage done to the human body because of tapeworm is that you eventually starve to death.

Seems there aren't too many people who know a whole lot about this. We were never interested in knowing about the tapeworm until we were diagnosed with having it. I have suffered 3 (and more coming) surgeries all due to organ damage caused from the tapworms and my husband is showing the neurological effects caused by having tapeworms. We wanted to know if anything he's suffering from is permanent or if there's a way he may recover from the damage. We aren't getting much feedback from the doctors and I believe it's due to them not being educated on the topic.
