Send an email to the hotmail service from someone else's hotmail. It has worked for me. There service is very good and quick.

Eggplant is correct! If your account had been 'compromised' They have blocked you.. No matter how you try, you won't get in. Just follow the instructions and you will answer a couple questions like your secret phrase, once they verify you are the owner of the account they will sent you a new password but its only good for 72 hours. I just went through the a couple weeks ago because my account was hacked and it was sending hundreds of email spam from my account. They probably blocked you
