    To transfer music from a CD to your ipod device you'll need your computer, iTunes software installed, your ipod, and the cable it came with. Now open your iTunes. Insert a CD into your cd driver. It will appear in iTunes and you could import it into the software. You no longer need the cd. Once you've finished uploading all your music to your computer, plug in the ipod while it's turned off. It will appear in iTunes. The device will automatically sync up with your music library and the music that used to be on the CD will be in your ipod (as long as the data size doesn't exceed the devices memory size).
