You are probably referring to cookware for use on the induction cook top. You have to use stainless steel cookware or else the cook top does not heat. In Australia we call it cook top in your part of the word who knows, but it is the ceramic glass thing you put your pots on to cook a meal . Aluminium for example it will not react to the cook top and the cook top will not heat up. This help? Great cook tops by the way.
