    How do i get my mum to let me by a dog?

    I e wanted a dog for ages but i dont know what to do for my mum to let me have one.

      If you had a dog:
      1. who is going to buy it's food, groom and bathe it, pay the vet bills etc?
      2. Who will care for it when you are at your prom, wedding, on your honeymoon, at work? Hopefully it will live 10 to 18 years.
      3. Where will you store it's "poop" until the garbage pick-up day?
      Maybe you could talk to her about raising and training a guide dog, which you would give up in about a year?

        Ask her nicely, and if she says no - find out why so that you can't possibly change her mind at some point.
