Sorry it took so long to answer this question. Hopefully you found the answer on your own. A TU for the question.
Go into Control Panel, Internet Options and delete all cookies and browsing history when loggin out. It should help speed up your computer.

There is no application named Internet Options in my Control Panel. I also did a search for internet options and nothing turned up
What type of computer do you have, most of us are running HP's or Dell's. If you have a Mac that definitely is going to make a difference.
