    how do I paint a stright line on canvas

    using acrylic paint on a canvas painting I want to be able to make a perfectly straight line

      Use masking tape on either side.Wait until the paint is fairly dry, which would be the next day, and carefully peel it off. If there is paint already on the canvas just press the tape lightly down.

          I always use a stringline easy to use, pencil in the line then repaint
