    Raw cranberries are 20 % dietary fiber. Here some other fun facts:

    * Small air-filled chambers inside a cranberry cause the fruit to bounce, and also to float.
    * Cranberries are one of the three major fruits native to North America (the others are blueberries and Concord grapes).
    * The Pequot Indians of Cape Cod called the berry ibimi, meaning bitter berry.
    * If you lined up all the cranberries produced in North America in 2000, they would stretch from Boston to Los Angeles more than 565 times.
