        It was Alan Alexander Milne. R.I.P. though for Elizabeth Taylor...she was a great actress and humanitarian. Now her and Michael Jackson being such tight buds, I don't know about that one! lol

          No. Winnie the Pooh was written in 1925 by A.A. Milne in London. His son's name was Christopher Robin.
