Where can I download a clear config CS 1.6 in 2026?
Can anyone point me toward a CS 1.6 download that has a completely vanilla configuration file (config.cfg)? I've tried downloading a bunch of different builds, but they're always ruined by someone's annoying "custom" preferences, like random binds, aim scripts, and bizarre mouse sensitivity tweaks.
I often come across versions with other people’s configuration files. Many people try to “improve” the game with their own settings, but they actually end up making it worse. It has the default configuration and a clean console, so you can customize it to your liking. Also, in some versions, my settings would reset after every game restart, but that doesn't happen here. Do you play with the AWP often? It seems like the best and hardest weapon to use. I just can’t get used to it.
