The second significant development was Cartier's partnership with Ebel link to move its watch production to La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Before then, Cartier watches had been produced in Paris (or London) using Swiss movements. While production continued in Paris in limited numbers through link the '70s, with Ebel, Cartier link had set up in Switzerland to begin producing more watches than ever before.
