Toledano may find joy in looking at lugubrious images of mid-century raw concrete buildings, but Brutalism is a visually cold discipline. The link introduction of a giant jewel-like crystal in the middle of the bold brutalist design, while in keeping with the stark line and asymmetry, gently distorts the mother link of pearl and emits little bursts of link light through refraction. All of which lends to a softening of its slightly starker B/1 predecessor.
