Hey everyone,
Has anyone tried no credit check car finance in Australia?
I’ve been declined a couple of times recently and just need something affordable to get back on the road for work.
I keep seeing rent-to-own options but not sure if they’re actually worth it or just expensive long term.
Would love to hear real experiences—
- Did you get approved?
- How were the repayments?
- Any downsides I should know?

Yeah I was in almost the exact same situation last year. Got declined by a bank and thought I was stuck for a while.
I ended up going with one of those rent-to-own type setups instead. It wasn’t perfect, but it got me on the road pretty quickly which is what I needed at the time. Payments were weekly and a bit higher than a normal loan, but manageable.
From what I saw, they care more about whether you can keep up with payments now rather than your past credit stuff. I found one here in Australia after doing a bit of digging online (pretty sure it was CarCoop Australia or something similar).
If you really need a car now, it’s worth at least looking into. Just make sure you’re comfortable with the weekly cost.
