You did not say what kind of computer you have or how old? That would make a difference on whether it has the capabilities of WI-FI I would think but in mine it is located in system prefrences and I had to select I think search for other open connections or something of that sort? Hope this helps you I have had to self teach myself on my computers at home and at work.
